Introduction	We are two strong women who became friends through our daughters, many years ago, in daycare. Pillars of our private "single mom network," we were busy raising our daughters when we met the wonderful men who would become our husbands. With their children in tow. And now we are learning to navigate the unfathomable waters of step-mothering older teenagers... while somehow saving our own sanity and hard-won sense of self.
