Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
Absolutely. Imagine the plight of a sponge that is caked dry or a tongue oh-so parched. To expect either to concentrate on anything less than cool crystal water would be asking for the impossible. To expect them to win a spelling B would be no less than outlandish.
