| Introduction | I have been making and flying kites for about 20 years. I enjoy being outdoors and flying kites can bring peace to the soul. I play with stunt kites, power kites, fighter kites and single line kites. Most of the kites I make are single line kites with some sort of applique design. I help organize kite events in Maine with our unofficial kite club, the NorEasters and I maintain a website that features photos from our kite events and more, including international kite festivals. A calender of events is also on the website, http://mainekites.com/main%20page.htm My wife and my son also enjoy kites. My wife is a partner in our kite making and design. |
