Introduction In 2007, Friends of Hailey Park was formed as a local community group dedicated to improving and maintaining Hailey Park. Two-thirds of the park is given over to informal play and leisure, and more formal pursuits, such as rugby (the home of Llandaff North Rugby Club), touch rugby, softball, and football. The top third of the park is 16 acres of breathing space, our meadow. However, it is a meadow that needs a bit of help from us to regenerate it, and the success of the MeadowLife project will be largely due to the hard work and support of our members, the local community at large and various authorities, and Cardiff Council. Most of the photographs in this blog are by members of Friends of Hailey Park, and written by one of the committee members who has an interest on that committee in all things biodiversity/conservation and responsible dog ownership, Penny,
