| Introduction | I am a sophomore at UT and I am taking a Government course at ACC during the Spring of 2011. I am taking this course for two main reasons: I need to fulfill a government requirement, and I am interested to learn more about our nation's government considering I only received a little more than half of the percentile on the civics quiz as well as the current events quiz. In taking this course, I hope to be able to become more in tune with what is going on around us and be able to form my own opinions on what is right and wrong for the government. This Blog will discuss different political issues and opinions. Also, in creating this Blog it was important to share some information with you. With that said, I am classified in the Enterpriser typology group which is classified as being 81% Republican, 18% Independent,and 1% Democratic. I don't really have any political influences or experience. I haven't been able to vote in the past because in the last election I hadn't turned 18 yet. |
