| Introduction | I have worked in Britain and Africa as a teacher and as a publisher. In my spare time over many years, I researched and wrote the story of Abraham Hannibal, the African ancestor of Alexander Pushkin; I have written two historical novels for children about him (Abraham Hannibal and the Raiders of the Sands, Abraham Hannibal and the Battle for the Throne), and a travel book and biography for adults (The Moor of St Petersburg - in the Footsteps of a Black Russian). I am working on a new historical novel for adults. |
