| Introduction | Author Leah Angstman was raised in a small town outside of Lansing, Michigan, and spent most of her life in Detroit, Seattle, Boston, and San Francisco. She has run a small-press publishing company, Propaganda Press, since nineteen-ninety-three, in addition to pursuing her other hobbies of performing, singing, and directing musical theater; researching history; burying her nose in comic books; writing historical fiction; jamming out to Bruce Springsteen; consuming far too much coffee; and spazzing regularly in a highly OCD, stressed, chaotic, manic manner. She has had twenty chapbooks of her poetry and one play published, has two historical-fiction novels awaiting publication, and has been twice-nominated for the Pushcart Prize. |
