| Introduction | I founded Dreamchaser in 2001 when, after 28 years of taking Premarin, I discovered the plight of the horses used in urine production. Foals, considered a 'by-product' of pregnant mares, were routinely slaughtered. My mission was to save these mares and foals, educate the public about the dangers of the drug Premarin, and use the rehabilitated horses in programs for underprivileged children. We also save horses from seizures, abandonment, abuse, and feedlots. We are an accredited American Sanctuary, we are accredited through Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, and we haved adopted out 44 horses in the last three years. Our animals come FIRST. |
