| Introduction | I have worked as an artist, office worker, physiotherapist, homeschooler and farmer. I am a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, partner and friend. I love the woods, paddling canoes, tending plants, growing food, children, animals of all kinds, reading, music, singing, playing my guitar, creating music with others and watching the sky. And through all these jobs, roles and activities, what connects them all is storytelling. Stories are how I make sense of the world and how I find peace with pain. loss and joy. I am told that I come from a line of storytellers -- my aunt, grandmother, great grandfather and I imagine beyond that. |
