IntroductionYou may not know this about me, but, I love to travel *gasp* who knew?! A place I've never seen before, with people I've never met before, in a situation I didn't see coming - that's when I feel the most alive. You guys know this about me, and you're probably accustomed to having your Facebook Newsfeed fill up periodically with post after jealousy-inducing post from my latest adventure (you know it's true). Starting a blog for photos and updates seems like a great way to continue to let y'all know what I'm up to, with the added bonus of not spamming those who, inexplicably, aren't interested in every aspect of my travelling life ;)
InterestsPhotography, travel, sewing and design, food, people.
Favorite movies#1 - 'Easy Virtue' - With Colin Firth and Kristen Scott-Thomas it's fast, witty and hilarious in that dry English humour kind of way. #2 - 'Olympus Has fallen' - I make no apologies for loving this film. It's action and suspense with a good healthy dose of semi-realistic violence. #3 - His Girl Friday' - This gem from the 1940s has Cary Grant at his best. It is gloriously witty and side-splittingly funny, and what young woman doesn't aspire to be just like Rosalind Russell's character by the end of the film I just can't tell you.
Favorite musicMusic is such a wondrous thing, and my taste varies depending on what mood I'm in, like most of us. If I fancy some energetic dancing I'm going to reach for that Ska album by Melbourne Ska Orchestra. If I want to relax and doze off with wine in my hand it's going to be Nora Jones. Background music at a party maybe a mix of current hits mixed in with old hits like the Beatles, the Monkeys, the Deltones.
Favorite booksThe 'Tomorrow' series is my all time favourite, closely followed by Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

If you were a wrestler, what would be your finishing move?

So glad you asked! If I bring up a picture of the horizon I can draw a straight horizontal line all the way across it, and I feel this proves unequivocally that the Earth is flat. (In case it isn't immediately obvious, I'm being super sarcastic here).
