| Introduction | Living in the middle of "Flyover Country", I'm tired of being taken for granted and discounted by the elites on either coast. This country's backbone is made out of people like me. I'm 47, and have been very blessed in my life. I've had many challenges, trials and set backs, but have found a way through my faith, to grow through them. My family comes first and after that, I love to work, and play hard. I'm a commercial photographer specializing in people and food. It's a good combination because people have always fascinated me, and I love to eat. My wife and I love blues music and bed and breakfasts, and try to combine the two whenever possible. Actually, we hope to own a B & B someday. Our 5 children are pretty much grown, all 5 in college, 1 in London, 1 in North Carolina and 3 in state. I hope to create political advertising for conservative candidates and have time to write a book someday. Other than that, I'm just a normal guy burdened with a healthy dose of common sense, which makes standing on the sidelines watching the clowns on the left spin and twist reality, impossible. Thus, the blogosphere. An infinite outlet for a regular guy to vent. |
