Introduction	I rediscovered sewing in January 2010 (I knew some basics from home-ec and fair projects from when I was younger) when I got a beginners sewing machine for Christmas. I started by drafting and piecing together my own purses (these were sad first attempts but everyone must start somewhere) and evolved into clothing, costumes, and accessories. I sometimes draft my own patterns and sometimes I use purchased ones. Please join me in teaching myself how to sew beyond the basics.
