| Introduction | I am driven to create. Simple enough. A self taught mixed media artist & illustrator, I was born & raised in West Tennessee. My art is inspired by nature, my surroundings, current events, phrases and people. My artistic style focuses on concept, composition, color and symbolism. My art can be seen at Highlands Art Studios, a cooperative gallery where I am a partner. In addition to shows & galleries, my work has been featured in regional newspapers & magazines, several retail shops, a national blog, a 2005 Home Builder’s Association’s Homerama house, & during a live morning show segment on a local TV affiliate. In addition, my art is part of several private collections, business as well as personal. I live in Louisville, KY, with her family. |
