| Introduction | For 20 years I have been fortunate to work with some great minds; visionaries and pragmatists, and have tried to replicate what they "say and do". I'm interested in small business, new technology and best practices; specifically around HR solutions. I am currently the President of Centric Consulting Group in Scottsdale, a contributing writer to both ThinkingHR and smallbusiness.com. After finishing at the University of Minnesota, I worked with a benefits-insurance firm in Minneapolis. Shortly after that I began my career that was focused on HR solutions, joining ADP in 1990. In 1994, I started my first business, becoming a reseller for Ultimate Software. In 1998, I sold my company to Ultimate, and we went public as one. From there, I was VP of Product Strategies at SalesLogix in Scottsdale, working for SFA pioneer Pat Sullivan, and then VP of Product Management for both, Ceridian and Gevity. I recently started Centric, where we deliver consulting services for HR solutions. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, where much of my time is spent coaching and cheering on my two athletic teen-age boys. |
