Introduction I have spent thirty years studying equestrian travel on four continents. After leading the longest equestrian expedition in Pakistan’s history, I was made a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. I am the Founder of The Long Riders’ Guild, the world’s first international association of equestrian explorers. I am one of the webmasters of The Long Riders’ Guild website, the largest collection of equestrian travel information in history. I am the publisher of the Long Riders’ Literary Collection, the Classic Travel Books Collection and the Equestrian Wisdom and History Series. After ten years of growth, The Guild became a movement for change in the equestrian world when I launched The Long Riders’ Guild Academic Foundation, a commercial free site for scholars, students and riders. I am the author of Khyber Knights, The Long Riders, The Horse Travel Journal and The Horse Travel Handbook. I am now working to establish the world’s first equestrian archaeology program.
