Introduction	I'm a luthier (I repair musical instruments) and cabinetmaker who doesn't do enough of both, so I thought I would throw a third trick into my bag and started making jewelry. It actually started with making buttons and quickly evolved into what I'm doing today. I love the fact that I can use the scrap wood from other projects that would just find their way into the garbage or someones fireplace. I have a few friends who build instrument and I'm always happy to take there off cuts and make use of the wood again. I also like to use that has out lived its usefulness as an other object, like the piano keys, the old wooden pant coat hangers and vintage stamps. What I really like doing these days are the stamp pendents, every time I make one I am amazed at how cool they turn out.
