Introduction	We are current and future teachers affiliated with Penn State's College of Education. As humane and aware people living in a world in which modern Americans have separated themselves from their food production and developed too many artificial barriers between us and nature, we believe, as David Orr has written, "The failure to develop ecological literacy is a sin of omission and of commission." We commit to a more sustainable life, even by just small steps, and hope not to omit our love for the Earth from our present and future educations. As Gandhi said we must "be the change we want to see in the world." Join us in our exploration to generate new teachings that ground us and let us live as symbiotically as we can.
