Introduction	Welcome to my blog! My name is Christine and I am a teacher of students with varying exceptionalities. Currently, I work with students in grades Kindergarten through grade 3 at a K-8 school in St. Johns County, Florida. I like to try new strategies in order to be most effective and to make learning fun. So I thought, why not create a blog where I can share what I'm doing? I'm hoping this will create opportunities for special education teachers to communicate, share ideas, and discuss practices that have lead to successful results. I am a full time special education teacher, but I'm also a part-time graduate student working towards a master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. I am enrolled in the distance learning graduate program at Florida State University. Since I will be studying speech and language pathology, some of my blog posts will be focused on new ideas that I am learning.
