Introduction	It all started when Andy and I were introduced by our friend Jill in April 2003. (Thanks Jill!) Our friendship quickly grew into love and we married on August 6th, 2005. (No Andy, not the 5th!) Our first child arrived two weeks after we came back from our honeymoon. I know..you are probably thinking, "Wow, was that quick!" Before you make assumptions, let me tell you that it was a dog. In fact the cutest dog that I had ever seen! He looked like a Boyd's bear and that is how he aquired his name. Six months later, we ended up pregnant with our first biological child, Lauren. After many months of throwing up and crying myself to sleep because I was so sick (Thanks to all of you for giving me advice to overcome my sickness, which by the way, didn't work), we were blessed with Lauren's birth on November 14th, 2006! Lauren was born with a Large segmental compound hemangioma on the left side of her face. She has required 2 major eye surgeries and 3 laser surgeries along with steroids to keep the growth under control. Despite all of the scary and trying moments, Lauren has proven to be quite a fighter and already has developed a strong character.
