Introduction | Chaz Wood's day job involves handling technical queries for one of the UK’s biggest supplier of internet services, and his first novel ‘Maranatha’ was partly composed during lunch breaks on back shifts. Published in 2008, ‘Maranatha’ was his first full-length work, and also the first book in the 'Trinity Chronicles' series. It brings together many of his interests; the development of the Western Church, esoteric mysticism and medieval history. It has since been followed by a prequel, the psychological horror 'Venus in Saturn'. Also in late 2008, he edited the fantasy/sci-fi anthology 'A Surfeit of Mandrake'. Since then, he's produced over a dozen titles, some in collaboration with Frang McHardy, and solo works including an epic illustrated fantasy series 'The Wish and the Will'; a dark graphic retelling of Wagner's epic 'Ring' Cycle, 'The Sword and the Ring'; the 'Angel of Vengeance' series of adult occult/horror paranormal novels; off-beat cyberpunk thriller 'Malaria 9', and most recently (Spring 2016) the first issue of 'Prolitoy Krovi/Spilled Blood' - an ambitious crime/thriller comic series set in contemporary Russia. All his eBooks are available on Amazon Kindle. |
