| Introduction | It all started about 23 years ago with a 110 key-chain camera from K-Mart and it’s been nothing but fun ever since. I'm a little bit urban and nomad combined, and have only settled down since becoming a mom. I've spent most of my life in Florida but spend a great deal traveling. I question everything, I want to know everything and why it came to be - which is why I love wedding and child portrait photography, I get to be part of the story telling. Everything thing I do has an artistic essence, I love nothing more than to capture art in life. Some photographers might give you a schpeel about growing up always with a camera, or finding it when they got older, or someone telling them they were good at it and should pursue it as a career - that is all fine and dandy but for me photography speaks to me. Before there was digital, it was all film baby. Film ruled the world and manipulating light to create surreal or artistic representations was what turned photographers into mad scientists; its sort of like catching "the" wave, its amazing, refreshing, and exhilarating all at the same time. I love what I do and can't imagine not doing it. |
