Introduction I'm currently Revenue Services Manager with Fife Council.I've worked in local government for 37 years,23 in the revenues and benefits field.I qualified as an accountant in 1975 and joined the Institute in 1989. I am a past President of the Scottish Association and chair the Scottish Revenues and Benefits Forum.I'm an advisor to the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) on revenues and benefits matters and represent COSLA on the DWP/Local Authorities Association Steering Group. I am a distance learning tutor and lecturer at the Scottish Technician course.I'm a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and contributor to Insight. My main hobbies are football and golf.I support my local team,Raith Rovers(who?) and Plymoutyh Argyle (why?).I still play 5 a side but pace is certainly not my main strength!Coming from Fife it is not surprising that I like golf but, unfortunately,I play it rather badly but that doesn't stop me coming back for more.
Interests Sport - mainly football and golf
