| Introduction | I am starting my Ph.D in Canadian History at McMaster University in September.I am 24 years old and a first-generation Canadian from Toronto. I graduated from Trent in 2008 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Mathematics. I have more interests than I can count. At various stages during my 5 years at Trent I served on Champlain Cabinet, co-chaired ISW, played drums in the cultural outreach show, played Dionysis(Trent's end of the year music festival), performed poetry at the Peterborough Poetry Slam, worked part-time at a local restaurant, served as the Don of K/L staircase, was a member of the cross-country team, and served as the student representative for the Tenure, Award, and Search committees for the history department.I have been blessed with an amazing support network of family, friends, and mentors. As you can see,I have a wealth of experiences to contribute to this blog.Please,P-l-e-a-s-e, do not hesitate to contact me with questions.I look forward to getting to know you through this blog. |
