| Introduction | I became a firefighter in 2002, and was involved in the fire service as a Fire Explorer since 1998. I became a Basic EMT in Oklahoma in 2004 while attending Oklahoma State University, majoring in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. When I couldn't find any engineering jobs (I wasn't interested in the oil industry) I started working for Med-Trans, Inc in Springfield, OH. I started paramedic school at Grant Medical Center in 2007 and finished in mid-2007. I was hired by the Memphis Fire Department in 2008. |
