Introduction Christopher Molineux was educated in Canada and the U.K. and has been working as a comedian since 1986, teaching stand-up since 1998 and a public speaking and communication skills coach since 2000. He is also a humour expert and studies all aspects of the origins, nature and functions of humour including humour in communications, comedy in different cultures and the development of humour recognition and creation systems in artificial intelligence. As a comedian he has worked with Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Carrey, Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres and performed at Just for Laughs. As a coach he has worked for Coca Cola training the 2010 Olympic Torch and Olympic Site teams and is a public speaking coach for the CGA's of BC Executive Leadership Program. He is currently writing a book entitled "Humour Explained" and gave a presentation at TEDx Stanley Park 2013 on the origins, nature and functions of humour and the development of humour recognition and creation systems in artificial intelligence.
