Introduction	Welcome! I'm Dawn - that's my husband, Tug. I started my blog so my wonderful husband wouldn't have to constantly listen to me prattle on about my latest kitchen experiments. I've been baking since I was about six years old and my parents bought me a Holly Hobby oven. I still love baking and sharing what I've made. Feel free to use my recipes as you like, but I would appreciate credit for them. I don't profess to be an expert on anything, but if you happen to learn something from me, that's awesome. If there's no other lesson within these pages, let that one lesson be that sometimes it's okay to fail. Once in awhile, a failure can be your greatest success!
Interests	Baking, cake decorating, canning and preserving, Egyptology, art history, photography, beading, birdwatching, anything crafty for the most part
Favorite Movies	A long list, but here are a few from the top in no particular order: Chocolat, The 13th Warrior, The Bourne trilogy, James Bond movies, Moonstruck, Pride and Prejudice
Favorite Music	A little bit of everything but not hardcore anything.
Favorite Books	Again, a few from the top of the list (besides cookbooks): The Memoirs of Cleopatra, Out of Africa, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, anything Jane Austen
