| Introduction | My story beings like a lot of you with visions of blessings, a husband, & children. I went to college, met someone & then my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I graduated & moved back home where I worked. I was raped 5 months before we were to be married. Because of the rape our first 2 years of marriage were TOUGH. We could not truly share our whole selves, there were walls being put up by both of us. But I did not see that my husband was struggling with my rape. He never shared his emotions, his heart & at times himself with me. My mother’s cancer came back even worse than the first time & it was in stage 4. My mother died from breast cancer at the age of 52. I wanted children & prayed like Hannah for a life to grow inside me but we never had children. After 9 ½ yrs of marriage we got divorced. I had to ask God for forgiveness because I just couldn’t go back. I then met my amazing, sweet, family loving, communicating, sexy husband and we were blessed with twins in 2006. I am a work in progress & we all have ghost in our closets but be bold to share your story of how God is working on molding you like the potter’s clay. |
