Introduction	We're twin sisters who, because life is sometimes a wacky Kate Hudson rom/com (but with black people), both married for the first time in 2010, at 38 and 39, respectively. We believe strongly in love, the healing power of pie, and the right of every bride to be as fabulous as she wants to be, no matter what her age, size or degree of hipness. And we think she should be able to see herself reflected in stores, ads and online, without being made to feel old, matronly, or the mother of the bride.
Interests	Wedding shows, our husbands, pie, running off the pie, looking at people's baby pictures, making sure every bride, regardless of age, gets to be hot.
Favorite movies	"Father of the Bride," the part of "The Color Purple" where Sophia says "I's married now!", "The Expendables."
