Introduction	I'm a police officer with a strong interest in drug policy reform, which I explore while off-duty. (Note that any opinions expressed by me are my own, and they don't represent those of my department.) I volunteer with Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, an international group of 40,000 cops, judges, prosecutors and others who want to end the destructive War on Drugs. We don't support or encourage drug use, but we believe that gradually legalizing and regulating drugs would reduce crime, disease, addiction and death. I'm active in my community as the secretary of my neighbourhood association, as a volunteer with Canadian Blood Services and as an advisory board member of the IdeaWave conference.
