| Introduction | A veteran teacher, Lauren has over 20 years in the classroom, teaching middle school, high school and college. Most of that teaching has been U.S. history, grades 7th, 8th and 11th. Lauren has a master’s degree in U.S. history from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her undergraduate degree is in American Studies from the University of Michigan.
