| Introduction | I moved from London to live in California 18 years ago. I met my fabulous husband at the theatre in London one night. He was on a business trip to Israel and stopped off in London for the weekend on his way home. I was originally a Speech and Language Therapist. I changed career, did a second Master's degree, this one in Creative Writing. I write and teach Creative Writing at universities and private workshops. I have the best daughter in the world. I love animals and have 4 cats and a dog. I live in Big Sur, and in the San Francis Bay Area. |

| Favorite movies | I don't have any favourites, but here are some of the ones I saw recently that I loved: An Education, Bright Star, A Single Man, and The Young Victoria. |
| Favorite music | Whatever my daughter is singing at the moment. She is an opera singer. Again, I don't have favourites, but I love Puccini, Vivaldi, Bach, some Verdi and Mozzart. I listen to contemporary music and and like a variety of singers including Indigo Girls, Norah Jones, Sinead O'Connor, Rumer, Santana, Becka Brown and it is early in the morning and I can't remember names! |
| Favorite books | Among my favourites are Atonement (didn't like the movie) Everything Virginia Woolf wrote, Let's Not Go to the Dogs Tonight -Alexandra Fuller, again, it is very early in the morning. When I'm more awake I'll add more books. |
