Introduction	I have been listening to jazz music since I was 14 years old. This was due mostly to the early listening of the 'jazz' inspired pop music group of 'Chicago' (referring to early works). My appetite for jazz grew when I was a DJ for the college FM radio station, whose format was 'Alternative'. They had an extremely large LP jazz collection, and many of my preferences became established.
