Favorite movies | Fire, Donny Brasco, One Love (Corny ending but love the rasta setting) Requiem for a dream, Crash (Racism in LA, brilliant), Trainspotting, the subtitles in one of the Monty Python movies, El Perro, Fight Club, Sideways, the second half of Broke Back Mountain, Blow, V for Vendetta (Kinda a mainstream version of 1984 - great screenplay), Elephant, Bowling for Columbine, Dogville, The Departed (Great screenplay, great photography, great soundtrack, and even Matt Damon was less aggravating than usual) |
Favorite music | Some Indie and folk Rock... Waiting for Decay, Absinthe Glow,Wall flowers some Grunge, Metal-emo...a lot of Hurt Process, Juvenile Punk. The Killers, Razorlight, U2, Gin Blossoms, 3 doors down. Third eye blind, Reggae! (I listen to Voices of Jamaica every morning. Seriously. Or Jamaica All Stars. Gentleman. Passafire is another good indie roots group) Bachata, Merengue, Zouk, Soca, Reggaeton - so most Afro-Caribbean music :-) . Whoever sings Hotel Buenos Aires. Loved the counting crows before they went all poppy. Rammstein. (live)Klezmer music. Damien Marley. Ziggi (nope, not Ziggy, Ziggi. This guy is Dutch but grew up somewhere in the West Indies.)
