Introduction | When I was 14 years old, I was standing in one of the bookshelf aisles of the National Library of Singapore and I realized that in my lifetime, society would reach a fork in the road in our use of technology - for the good of a few, or for the common good. And that while self-interest would drive in the first direction, many had to choose the second direction in order to be a loud enough voice for the rest of human kind. And I realized that the choices I made would make a difference. Since then, this path has lead me work with/study under an electic mix of visionary people in different fields: Fisher Black - Finance Douglas Engelbart - Collective IQ/Mouse/Windows Robert Merton - Math Finance Franco Modigliani - Lifecycle Savings and Consumption Tom Siebel - Customer Relationship Management Marc Benioff - Technology Marketing Bob Derby & Everett Roach - Pioneered Intel's entry into the Japanese Market in the early 80's Dennis Reker, Rich Timpa - Technology Distribution Sales and Marketing |
