| Introduction | My 2 sons, Christopher, 30, and Andrew, 28, live in the Washington DC area. The posted picture shows us at a wedding Janury 2010, in the Philippines. We are all dressed in the traditional Philippine wedding attire. No suits. Just barongs, a traditional very light dressy shirt like the one I wore at my wedding 34 years ago. The wedding was a chance for many of our relatives to have a reunion. They traveled from all over the world to attend the ceremony. We spent 2 weeks there in the 80 degree weather. My wife, Cora, travels to the Philippines every chance she gets. Two of her sisters and her brother live there. I have lived in the Cleveland area since graduating from college. 3 years ago we moved to a more rural tourist area. We live close to the Vermilion river and about 1/2 mile from Lake Erie. One story that some of you can relate to is May 28, 2006,the Memorial day weekend, I had a heart attack. I thought I was in good health but I was wrong. I had 2 stents placed in my Right Coronary Artery and now am close to being like new. I had a very good check up last February. |
