| Introduction | I am currently involved in adopting our two foster sons. Dylan is 4 1/2 years old and William is 1 1/2 years old. We hired an attorney to assist CPS's case against the biological mother. We thought we'd have to go to Court on Halloween this year for a jury trial. She just suprised us and said she was going to voluntarily give up her rights and not fight us. We are in the final stages of making the adoptions legal. I just can't wait to lead a boring life again! I am also writing/editing two books. One is still on the making about my experiences going through the system to do foster to adopt. The other is in editing and is titled, White Trash, Inc., which is loosely and fictionally based on a place that I worked at, where the married owner murdered his pregnant girlfriend. Turns out, the baby wasn't his. Oh, and his best friend started dating his ex-wife and possibly assisted in the murder. See my White Trash, Inc. blog to see sample excerpts. |
