| Introduction | I’m a retired investor living, by God's grace, on the full faith and credit of my own ingenuity, which means I am a somewhat impoverished, self-reliant, coffee-loving survivalist. I’m extremely passionate, somewhat self-conscious, and at times, willfully self-indulgent. I'm politically, fiscally and socially conservative with a strong aversion to Kool-Aid. I’m a born-again, Bible believing Christian – a sinner saved by grace -- an imperfect but forgiven child of God. I believe there are no rights without responsibilities, no free lunches, no cheap grace, and no man-made global climate change. I believe marriage is between a man and a woman, that life begins at conception, and each of us is born with a God-shaped vacuum in our hearts that only God can fill. The entire world is rapidly hurling towards the great abyss with only One Life-Line, the Lord Jesus Christ. I do not think it takes a village to raise a child -- it takes parents who take the time and sacrifical love to parent. Being a mother is the greatest joy of my life.
