| Introduction | "Mature age Christian' is a pen name. I first came across Jacks Burrell's vision back in 1989. I read it and believed it. Jacks book got me interested in other prophecies, which I went looking for. Over a period of time, talking to people here and there, I came to see Jack Burrell as a remarkable man. An Australian WW2 veteran he steadfastly took his book into many a “quiet corner” of Christianity. Printed it time and time again out of his own pocket such was his belief in the vision. Not too many people do that. Even today, all of these years later, many older Christians still remember Jack with a great degree of fondness. Jack went to be with The Lord in 1982. Will any of the events revealed to Jack Burrell ever come to pass? Well, the truth is, we are not sure. Prophecies are like that. They have to become fulfilled to have been genuine (Deuteronomy 18:22). One thing we are sure of though, is that prayer works and can change the future for individuals, families even nations. We see prayer working all the time in the Christian churches. It’s such a joy to see people receive salvation, miracle healings and answers to their problems. |
