Introduction	Alanna Jayne Richardson (born in 1990) comes from East Anglia. Her secondary education was at The King’s School Peterborough studying English, Art, Textiles and Classics at A-Level. During this period she won ‘Young Artist of the Year’ for the Society of Equestrian Artists and exhibited at the Mall Gallery, London. In the Summer of 2011 she Graduated with a 1:1 BA Hons Degree in Fine Art from the Norwich University College of the Arts, having enjoyed a wide variety of cultural, relational, culinary and artistic stimulus. Her art work focuses on drawing and written works, with occasional indulgences in mix-media and textiles. The outcomes are playful, thoughtful and strive to draw comparisons between imagination and reality. Art works tend to be concise illustrations and reflect on her personal passions and every-day experiences. Creating a narrative that is observant and at times understated. Now living in central Norwich she looks forward to continuing her practise; celebrating the simple things in life and often endeavouring to unite her two loves for drawing and food.
