| Introduction | I think LIFE is like a DANCE where sometimes you don't get to pick the music. Sometimes you DO get to pick the music and things will go well. They might go magnificently.(or not) But you might fall down. Then you better get up, don't stay down too long or it gets comfy down there. If not COMFY, then at least "absence of scary" if you stay down in your cave. It hurts to get up sometimes. At the peak of the DANCE, those minutes, hours ~ the "flow" experience, it is hard to recognize that its a transient state...but (sigh) it is. You might be able to get there again, but you can't STAY there all the time. Perhaps I think of DANCE because so many of my memories are associated with DANCE. Most are great...some not so much, starting when I was in the first grade & most of my friends took tap & ballet. My beloved (but old-country) Bapcia told my young mom that allowing her first born to take dance classes would end in dire consequences to a teensy girls forming-innards. |
| Interests | My interests all have to start at the STARTING LINE where regaining HEALTH, to the point where I can read wonderful descriptions of being "GRACEFUL & STRONG" & feel "THIS is possible for ME!" instead of reading the words, feeling the picture the words paint ..and dissolving into tears that tumble down an unexplainable path,as long as the day starts & ends with hopeless & severe pain...God bless you innocent souls who suggest A HOBBY. |
