| Introduction | I am the Organizer and Founder of the Cavalcade of Authors. Our first event was in April of 2009. We began with 70 secondary students in attendance and expect in 2011 to have over 700. |
| Interests | Our organization, the Cavalcade of Authors is dedicated to providing the secondary students of our region access to some of the best Young Adult authors of our modern era. Our special interest is to celebrate Pacific Northwest Authors while introducing students to a variety of genres and subject matter and to further-more, promote reading and writing within our community. We have provided for our participants an authentic writing conference experience. We are always looking for new authors for our upcoming event which happens the second Friday of every March. |
