Introduction	Gonzalo Aramayo Careaga has developed his professional career working in local and multinational companies in the area of strategic planning, product and services development, sales & marketing, Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) and Knowledge Management. Major responsibilities have included; the implementation of different projects of telecommunications (Fixed Lines, Satellite services, ISDN, Frame Relay, Internet and E-business platforms); the development of business plans, marketing strategies, development projects, services and products; the development of national and regional ICT strategies. He has developed activities for consultancy in the areas of; telecommunications, marketing, e-marketing, project management, knowledge management and ICT4D for international organizations such as: ALADI, World Bank, DGF, IICD, GBF, and UNDP.
