| Introduction | Okay, to tell you the truth, my life is not really a fairy tale. I live in a fixer upper on a hobby farm. My house is usually a mess and my garden is full of weeds. I have seven kids (which is more than the number of tweets I have on twitter). We have one daughter who came to us from India through international adoption. We have a son who struggles with addiction and another son who moved out of our home before he finished high school. This blog is about the daily life of a larger than average, not so perfect, family. Some days there's humor, other times heartache. We'd love to have you join our journey. Just a warning: If you are looking for someone who has it all together, then this is not the blog for you. Just when I think I've conquered one area in my life needing improvement, God shows me another. In fairy tales the characters live happily ever after. That's my ultimate goal. |
