| Introduction | As a mother of 2 amazing boys who love to read I have been reading board books, picture books, graphic novels, beginner novels, comics and young adult novels for the past 10 years. That's a lot of books and our bookshelves are bursting with pages and pages of imagination and information. But, my boys want more, "read it again Mommy (or Daddy)" is heard in our home on a regular basis. They still love for us to read to them but will often be found in a cozy corner or a fort reading their own book. It is our hope that we have created life long readers. I have created this blog to share the books we love and to get new ideas for the next 10 years of reading. So, curl up, grab a good book (oops, I mean blog) and enjoy! |

| Favorite books | The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini (this book actually made me cry and laugh on the same page), The Book of Negros by Lawrance Hill (so surprising what could happen to a human being), and The Many Lives and Secret Sorrows of Josephine B. by Sandra Gullard (the book that got me reading as an adult) |
