| Introduction | I’m Dana Setchell, a middle school special education teacher in Kansas. After spending over a decade in the corporate world, I decided to follow my dream, teaching. I also serve as the Special Education Department Head at my school and am working toward my second Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Educational Technology. I love finding creative ways to help my students succeed, especially when it comes to integrating technology into learning. When I’m not teaching, I’m spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and enjoying good food. I’ve also been teaching indoor cycling classes for 16 years. In addition to my passion for education, I have a serious case of wanderlust and love to travel whenever I can. Whether it’s discovering a new city or immersing myself in different cultures, traveling gives me fresh perspectives and inspires my teaching. |
