| Introduction | Do I love beads?.....ubetcha!! Ok, I don’t talk like that. Born and raised in Chicago, my husband and I moved to Western Wisconsin's Coulee Region to own and operate an old roadside motel back in 2001 - check us out at restwellinn.com. The Norwegian influence in the surrounding area here is how the name "ubetchabeads" came about. I’ve always enjoyed creating in some way, shape or form so after we updated the inn and my girls were older I began to make jewelry. Largely self-taught, I now find myself with a thirst for expanding my jewelry making abilities beyond wire by stamping sheet metal, using patinas and, as I gradually get past my fear of the flame, a torch. |
