| Introduction | I am older than I'd like to be, but look younger than I am, so that is always good. I have an awesome 7 year old son who believes the universe revolved around him because in our house, it really does. I have four cats, three dogs, and one parrot. The fish died. I just realized that it's been years since I updated this intro. The fish has been dead for ages, and sadly, so is one of the cats. I've never been a big fan of the "who am I" things because, really, at 37 years old, I can hardly be defined in under 1200 characters! Want the short version anyway? I'm a blogger, freelance writer, mom to the aforementioned awesome kid, and girlfriend to an amazing guy who ensures I don't die of starvation while I'm working by feeding me breakfast every day he's here. Life doesn't get much better than that! |
| Interests | I am a book and knowledge junkie. I rock at Trivial Pursuit but suck at Monopoly and pretty much every other game. When I'm not spending 12 hours a day writing online, I love playing video games with my son or hanging out with my awesome boyfriend. |
| Favorite movies | There are literally millions of movies in existence, how on earth can anyone really choose their favorites? It would be easier to tell you what I don't like! |
| Favorite music | Dropkick Murphys, NOFX, Guttermouth, Vandals, Bouncing Souls, Suicide Machines, and so on. Basically, I'm a punk rock girl at heart. |
| Favorite books | Alice in Wonderland is my all-time favorite book. Other than that, it varies depending on my mood. I read everything, some favorites are: James Rollins, Neil Gaiman, Jasper Fforde; plague fiction (not medical fiction, it has to have some sort of epidemic in it); Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye mysteries. I rarely read Oprah Book Club books. |
