| Introduction | Well, most people who know me seem to know me for being a music fanatic...it's a disease really, as my buddy David would say. I love to write, sing, and play music that glorifies God. Lately I've also been really getting into reading books a lot. Especially funny ones. I have a great family, and we are a silly, crazy bunch. I long to raise my girls in a way that will influence them to follow God in a deep, real way. I also want to be a better husband, father, brother, son, and friend. I'm a sinner, and a proud follower of Jesus, and my life's purpose is to live for Him, and to give Him honor, glory, and praise through whatever may happen in my life. |
| Interests | Hanging out with my family, wrestling with my girls, music, drinking coffee, laughing at my friends, learning about the Lord, mowing the yard, hiking, and i'll just be honest..eating, especially chocolate.., I love hearing my girls laugh really hard when i tickle them! |

I guess with the king, Elvis Presley, followed closely by none other than the Beatles.., also Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Coldplay, DMB, Hillsong, Jennifer Knapp, Lifehouse, Michael Buble'(yeah, i know that one's a little different, but it brings back memories of my old jazz band days), Third Day, Tom Petty, everything my brother Trent writes,...my band of the moment is one called Sojourn |
| Favorite books | The New Testament, followed directly by The Old Testament, ...I find The Message paraphrase very helpful.., Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, which I would highly recommend for a fresh look at following Christ in our culture and getting past cliche, phony "Christianity".. i'm fixing to start a book called The Worshiping Artist which looks very cool..., i'm also the number one fan of author Trent Williams, who wrote some great books in the 90's that made me laugh till my sides hurt with his very original style of humor. |
