| Introduction | Needlework and quilting aren’t just my hobbies—they’re my passion, obsession, and career. I founded Blue Ribbon Designs in early 2004, specializing in original counted thread cross stitch patterns and sewing/quilting patterns. I also offer specialty needlework finishing and custom sewing/quilting projects, along with classes featuring needle and thread techniques. So, who am I? I’m a fairly private person… a self proclaimed control freak… often a perfectionist… beyond organized… highly analytical… and just a little obsessive compulsive. I have a deep love for anything created with needle and thread and a not so secret weakness for fabrics, fibers, textiles, and embellishments. I’m an admirer of creativity in all its forms—especially work that is unique, artistic, and thoughtfully made. On this blog, you’ll find my needlework, sewing, quilting, wool felt, and embroidery projects, along with the ideas/inspirations behind them.
