Introduction	When you’re a stand-up comedian, people always ask the same question: “Where do you get your material?” My answer was easy. I told them that my act was all about how much fun it was to be single and dating in Los Angeles! Ha. Hell, I used to think I had a better chance of getting a movie made in this town than of getting married. I never fantasized about weddings, dresses or flowers. All I wanted was a man worth having a second date with. If somebody had told me a few years ago that not only would I meet my soul mate in Hollywood, but I’d meet him online and he'd be a musician (with a job!), I would have said, "That’s a great script! Who’s writing it?" But guess what? It’s all true. Talk about a happy ending! Now that I’m allowed to think about weddings, dresses and flowers, however, stand back! I’m like that guy in District 9 who knows he’s turning into an alien. He watches it take over his hands, his limbs, everything. He desperately wants to fight it but it’s stronger than he is. That’s me with this wedding stuff.
